Stagekings: a new chapter

From a small team working out of a coffee roaster's yard to a fully-fledged production company, Stagekings has come a long way in just a few short years. Founded in 2015, the company has been busy creating stunning custom builds, sets, and fabrications for clients all over Australia.

But as the business grew, so did the need for space. Three years after starting out, Stagekings moved to a warehouse in Kurnell, where they could spread out and take on even more exciting projects. The team juggled the warehouse layout daily to fit in the ever-growing list of custom builds and sets, as well as their COVID-inspired IsoKing furniture production line.

With over sixty people working in the Kurnell space at times, it soon became clear that they needed a larger premises. And so, after years of growth and expansion, Stagekings has come full circle and moved back to where it all began - Caringbah.

The new space is much larger and has a hardstand area, which means the team has more room to work on their exciting projects. The premises has dedicated areas for IsoKing, set and stage building, spray booths, a CNC room, a steel shop, truss, rigging, scaffold, AllyStage rental stock, an in-house signage shop, set storage, and even a large filming space for film shoots and commercials!

With their new space, the capabilities of Stagekings have greatly increased, allowing them to take on even bigger and more complex projects. From humble beginnings, this company has come a long way - and the future looks bright for this innovative production company

TV, FILM & THEATRE SETS

We have a highly experienced team of set builders, carpenters and scenic painters, and we’ve set up our new, well-appointed workshop in order to make any set of any size. With a 1,000m² multiuse space adjoining our workshop, we can test and prebuild right here. We’ve even filmed to Hollywood features in our space.

With a large stock of Layher Scaffolding, no scaffold project is too ambitious – from 400 scaffold pods at Myer Music Bowl, VIP Decks, PA Towers, Stairs and Ramps or 30m high supporting structures for stages!

PUBLIC ACCESS STAIRS & RAMPS

Our experienced team understands the regulations, and we can build public access solutions that are BCA and DDA compliant, whether you need a temporary or longer-term installation.

SIGNAGE SOLUTIONS

Stagekings has recently acquired Royal Sign Co, giving us an amazing inhouse custom sign capability. Tom and his team are experts in graphic design and innovative signage solutions, so anything from signage for your event, to car wraps, to custom fabricated signage – we’ve got you covered.

RETAIL, COMMERCIAL AND HOSPITALITY FITOUTS

We have worked in collaboration with the largest commercial retail companies in the country to create bespoke and original retail fit-out solutions, from pop-up stores to full scale custom retail fit-outs.

DRY HIRE - EUROTRUSS, ALLYSTAGE AND LAYHER SCAFFOLD

We hold Australia’s largest stock of the industry leading Eurotruss aluminium truss, including nearly 1,000m of the massive TTS truss. We have so much that we’re the Official Truss Supplier to Australian Ninja Warrior!
